Law in the Life of the Church
Particular attention is given to integrating the legal dimension into applied ecclesiology, based on the premise that statutes, regulations, and other internal norms are not merely administrative instruments, but legal expressions of the identity, organization, and doctrinal autonomy of religious communities.
At the same time, religious freedom is approached not only as a constitutionally guaranteed fundamental right, but also from the perspective of its effective application and protection in the lives of individuals, churches, and society.
“Law is not external to the life of the church, but one of the frameworks within which its identity, autonomy, organization, and freedom are expressed and protected.”
